PRAYER

Prayer is powerful because it invites God into situations we can't fix on our own. Scripture shows that prayer is not just words but action, because God responds when His people pray with trust and honesty (James 5:16). Prayer has the power to shift fear into peace by giving our worries to God instead of carrying them alone (Philippians 4:6–7). Throughout the Bible, prayer changes outcomes and strengthens people to face what is in front of them, reminding us that God is active, not distant. Jesus Himself modeled prayer as a source of strength, showing that dependence on God is where real power comes from (Matthew 26:39). At its core, prayer is powerful because it connects us to a God who listens, cares, and moves.
